Kesher Realty Agency was founded in 2009 and has served thousands of satisfied customers until today.  Over the years we had heard a fair share of horror stories about short term lets in Jerusalem. 

Both landlords renting out their apartments, and tenants, would express their disappointment concerning short term lets that went awry.  Sometimes this was due to mismanagement or lack of experience by the owner or letting company. 

In other instances, the landlord did not make enough inquiries to ensure the tenant would be a reliable customer, or because there was nobody on site to assist with issues that cropped up after the tenant moved in.

Types Of Management

Long Term Rentals:

We endeavour to find tenants who are reliable concerning   payments and responsible with regard to looking after the apartment. We undertake to sign the contract on behalf of the owner and ensure that monthly rent is paid on time and then forwarded to the landlord.  We will look after the property responsibly, and take charge when things break down or malfunction.  In this situation we will endeavour to arrange for repairs of a high standard as soon as possible, yet not necessarily by the most expensive expert in the field.

Short Term Rentals:

We will take responsibility to advertise the apartment and prepare the contract, ensure that the required deposit is paid, take responsibility to ensure that the apartment is deep cleaned and laundry taken care of between tenants, prepare a welcome pack as well as basic amenities such as tissues, toilet paper and soap.  We take care of all the bills and check that the a/c and all light switches are turned off after the tenant leaves.  We even try to assist the tenant whenever possible with unrelated issues (Anybody knows a tour guide?  What is the nearest Shul and Take out store?)  to ensure that their vacation is an enjoyable experience.

Empty Apartments:

For people who live abroad and own a second home in Jerusalem, we will take care of the bills, inspect the property regularly to check everything is in order, deep clean before and after the owner visits, arrange grocery orders prior to arrival and deal with the laundry afterwards.

We know that many managers charge a call out charge for every small issue that needs to be addressed. We will at all times try to save the landlord unnecessary costs, and if we are in any case in the area, we will not charge you a call out charge to take care of minor problems.
